Smiles And You

   Sock Puppets-

           Materials:

         - Sock ( or how many you want)

         - Glue (wet) or sewing kit

         - Buttons

         - Pom Poms/colored cottonballs

         - yarn or string

         - Markers

 

              Directions:

          First decide wether your gonna sew or glue your stuff on. Then when you decided put two buttons or two pom poms on your sock as the eyes. If you want your puppet to be a girl, cut the string or yarn about 4 inches long and put them on for the hair. If you want it to be a boy then you can cut the yarn or string however you like. Then put twirls it to make curly hair. Use the markers to draw any extra on you puppet like a nose, mouth, freckles,etc. Well let your puppet show begin!!

 

    Creepy Crawlers-

                   Materials:

               - Construction Paper

               - Googly eyes

               - Markers

               - Pipecleaners

               - Stick Glue or Wet Glue

               - Scissors

               - Tape

               - Chalk (White)

 

 Kinds of Creepy Crawlers:

               - Ladybug

               - Caterpillar

               - Spider

               - Ant

 

                          Directions for each Creepy Crawler:

 

 

          Ladybug-

 

   Cut out one big black circle for the body and one a little bit smaller for the head. Then six smaller black circles. Then a big red circle like the black one, and cut it in half. After that, glue three little black circles one each half of the red paper. Cut a black pipecleaner in half and tape it on top of the head. Then glue two googly eyes on the face.You can also draw a nose and mouth if you'd like. For the legs you could cut the black pipecleaner into six pieces. All of the six pieces should be about one inch each. Then glue  the two red halfs of paper on each side of the body, so it looks like it's flying. The six legs should be taped on the side of the body, but below the wigs so you can see them. After that you have a Ladybug!

 

 

      Spider-

 

                      Cut a big circle for the body with black paper. Then one a little smaller for the head. After, take googly eyes and glue then one the face for eyes. For antennas cut any color of pipecleaner and tape it on the top of the head. Same for the legs just cut them smaller. If you want you can use more then one color. Make sure though that you have eight legs all together, four on each side. Then glue or tape the body and head together. For other details like a nose or mouth, you can draw them with a marker or white chalk, whatever one looks best. Then you have a terrific Spider!!!!!

 

 

       Caterpillar-

                 Cut six medium sized circles out of green paper. Then tape or glue them together in a wavy or a lined pattern. For the head, the top green circle will be it. Use googly eyes and glue them on the face. The caterpiller's antennas and legs will be red pipecleaner. You should have six legs all together, three on each side. The antennas would be one red pipecleaner just cut in half. Tape or Glue the antennas and legs to the Caterpiller. Then draw other things with markers if you would like to. After that...... BAM! you got a Caterpiller!!

 

      Ant-

                Use black paper to cut out three medium sized circles. Glue them all together. Then glue googly eyes on the first black circle. After that cut up black pipecleaners about one inch each. You should have eight all together. Tape three of them on each side of the body for the legs. then the last two you use are gonna be for the antennas. Tape them on top of the head. If you want you can draw a mouth and nose with markers or chalk. After that you are all done and now you have an amazing Ant!!
